Thursday 13 - The Last Time

This weeks

A special double Thursday 13 presented by Aunie Sauce and The Life of The Wife.

This week's topic is

The Last Thing I...

1. TLTI..Thought......16 more sleeps, till my very first overseas holiday. Can't wait.

2 TLT..Ate......Chips, corn and Chicken poppers. Yum.

3. TLTI...Read....'Spring Affair' by Milly Johnson...Very fluffy 'pink' book but very,very, enjoyable.

4.. TLTI...Watched...An episode of David Attenborough 'Life in the Undergrowth', that came with our newspaper. Very enjoyable, I love nature documentaries.

5. TLTI...Wore.. Grey pants, Black T-Shirt, Black shoes. Typical work wear.

6. TLTI... Kissed... Brent, of course.

7. TLTI...Bought......Two pairs of platform sandals at $3 a pair. Couldn't resist. Internet credit, it managed to run out while writing this post.

8. TLTI... Listened To.... U2 Rattle and Hum. I love them and it's on in the background.

9. TLTI...Did Hair Wise.... Simple bun.

10. TLTI...Dreamt.....A crazy adventure dream where we had to avoid exploding vegetable bombs.

11.TLTI...Drank....Raspberry cordial.

12.TLTI...Put on my nails.....OPI Strawberry Margharita with Revlon Watermelon Fizz.

13.TLTI...Looked at on the Internet..... E-book readers. Have decded to get one before we go away because books can be heavy.

Thursday 13 - Love Yourself

inspired by the gorgeous Aunie. If you haven't met her yet, go, now.

Todys list is 13 things that I love about myself.

1. My hair - can't find my USB with the pics of t but it's long, red and wavy and my favourite feature.

2. The fact that I can now see polish collections and not buy the ones I don't like. I don't have the need to own entire collection anymore.

3. My lips - I used to work at a place where there were many enhanced people. They got jealous over my full lips, and, shallow as it is, it made me feel good.

4. My legs - Good shape, every time I wear a skirt or a dress people tell me how lovely I look. Apparently I look crap in pants. Only kidding.

5. My ability to read books in a day (normal sized books that is). Means I get to experiance new stories quickly.

6. The fact that I remember my dreams, especially the good ones. Not so great if I have a nightmare.

7. Even though i know my pics aren't fantastic and I'm not as funny as somepeople I still love blogging.

8. Even though I'm really shy in real life, there are people in my blogverse that i can open up to.

9. My glasses, I don't feel like I look right without them on.

10. My boobs, see number 3.

11. My skin - I keep it out of the sun and this means people think I'm younger than I am, usually by about 6 years.

12. My determination - I don't generally give up on something once I put my mind to it.

13. My silliness - both Brent and I are totally silly. People move away from us when we're out because of the silly conversations we have. If you can't laugh, it's not worth it.

Thursday 13 - Yes or No

1. Are you afraid of anything? Clowns (uugh) The Ocean (not sure why) Wind.

2. Do you believe in karma? Yes

3. Do you sing in front of others? Only if they're singing too, or the music's so loud I can't be heard

4. Do you only buy certain brands? Which? I have a preference for China Glaze nail polish.

5. Do you judge based on appearances? Books, definately. People, only occasionally

6. Do you have a picky appetite? Totally not. Unlike Brent (don't get me started)

7. Do you have allergies? Penicillian and Morphine

8. Do you always use your turn signal? Yes

9. Do you ever not wear underwear? At night, and in the shower, obviously.

10. Have you been fired? No

11. Have you been in a car accident? Yes, but didn'tget hurt

12. Have you been in a fight? Yes, puched a guy who was hassling a girl in a coffee shop. Only did it cause there was an even bigger guy standing right behind me

13. Do you make your bed every day? Absolutely not, only going to mess it up again at night.

No new nails today because I can't bring myself to take off Ruby Pumps.

P.S Just saw the China Glaze Hunger Games collection swatches at Scrangie and All Lacquered Up . I want. Now. Currently I want 10 out the 12, but I'll wait a little longer to really decide. I figure if I look every other week I may be able to narrow it down. To many times I've got entire collections even if I don't love all te colours.

Of course what's most likely to happen is I'll get them all.

Now I just have to wait for themto be available to Australia, or hope they don't all sell out on ebay.

PET PEEVES.

1. Bad spelling. Especially in text's.

2. Drivers who don't wave when you let them pass on a narrow road.

3. People who complain in blog comments. If you don't like something, don't read it.

4. People who don't return books on time. Yes, I am a librarian.

5. Cameras with bad white balance (may, in fact, be me, not the camera)

6. Supermarkets that don't stock Rice Bubbles(ie my local one)

7. Big postage costs to and from Australia, and stupid customs.

8. companies that won't ship to Australia.

9. People who say AKS instead of ASK, also PASGHETTI.

10. Not being allowed a puppy cause I'm renting.

11. IKEA being so much more expensive here.

12. Chips that don't crunch up in the oven.

13. My stupid Internet that keeps disconnecting when I'm in the middle of a long post. (I've written this one three times now)

Sorry this is another post wiith no polishes. I'm at home at the moment and can't upload with my laptop (maybe peeve #14). And all the local library computers have been fully booked the last couple of days.

Thursday 13 - Unrealistic Wishes

The series is to learn 13 things about me each Thursday. Sometimes they are serious, sometimes not so. Today is the latter.

1. Mini Dolphins to go into my fish tank, cause how cute would they be

2. Really, really good photography skills. Doesn't seem to matter how much practice I do, I just can't get good

3. Ability to cook anything that I see on the TV Cooking shows.

4. Teleportation to get to places without using public transport. And so I could visit people in other countries.

5. A dream recorder so I can watch the great dreams that I have again and again.

6. Another dream one. A way to make the books that I read into dream so I can 'live' them.

7. A pet monkey.

8. More time to read all the books I want to.
