Just a quick one before I go to work.

This is Nicole by OPI Rainbows in the S-kylie ove NOPI Khloe Had a Lam Lam. My first 2 fullsize Nicole's. Wow, such annoyong bottle shapes. Whoever came up with that had rocks in their head. But very pretty colours, and RITS gives me an alternative to my DL Happy Birthday, which cost's too much for me to actually use. Weird I know, but I dont like usuing my expensive polishes.

I Got It. Yay

It's not very often that a polish jumps straight into number one spot for it's respective colour. But that is what happened as soon as I put this one on.

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps. An oldie but definately a goodie. Best red ever! And to think I put off buying it because I had other red glitters. Silly me

I lost my USB that contains ALL my nail photos, and my polish database. Looked for it for days at home. Then ten minutes ago I came to my local library, and someone had handed it in here. Thank you, whoever you are. That's why I've been gone for so long.

It matched my christmas tree which had red and silver baubles, and was green (DUH)

Pretty Pretty Glitter

This is the gorgeous Wet ' n' Wild glitter, Believe Me It's Real, from the Ice Baby collection. My camera (or photography skills, definately photography skills) aren't as good as other swatches i've seen, but it truly is beautiful. Small blue glitter with meduim purple glitter thrown in too.

Also it's goodbye to my nice shaped nails after today. At work I've been moving books on shelves and have broken corners off six nails. Ah well, maybe it's time for a shape change anyway.

Makes Me Angry

That I can go a whole long weekend and not have anything bad happen to my nails.

And then I get too work and within two hours break three and can see another one on its way.

What makes me happy is the Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe that I wore on the weekend.

This is three coats. I think next time I'll pu a black base coat on first. It's very hard to capture the gloriousness that is ATU

Hospital Times

I think this is China Glaze Haunting.

Can't really remember though. I put it on on Tuesday night right before I had to take B to hospital, for kidney stones.

It's now Thursday and he's still there, but hopefully home sometime today.

Funniest thing was, I managed to talk to 6 different nurses about polish while I was there.

I Love Zoya - But Not My Camera.

I don't love my camera because it insists on focussing on the furthest away finger. Oh well.

But I love Zoya because of this colour.

Ummm. Whats happening.

Weird things for sure. This is Color Club Magic Attraction. I put it on on Sunday over a coat of Seche Base. 3 coats of MA then one coat of SV. It's now Tuesday and, Where has my polish gone?

Literally, where is it? Everytime I look at my fingers some more has fallen off, I'm not picking at it. The bizarre thing is the Seche Base is still on my fingers. There must have been a weird reaction between the two.

MA is a really stunning colour, and I tell you what this has to be the easiest way to remove glitter that I know, although very annoying because it's going o be at least 7 hours before I can put new stuff on.

Please ignore the staining that came from my franken Lime Spider.

More Fuzzy Gorgeousness

Hi, another fuzzy mobile pic, still haven't learnt how to do purposeful out-of-focus on my proper camera. And this polish needs fuzziness to see it properly.

This is a gorgeous black jelly packed with muticoloured glitter.

Practice Glitter

For a first attempt at using dry glitter, I'm happy with this.




Used a base of CG Paint the Town Red. Then a coat of SV, the put the glitter on with a generic clear polish and topped with another two coats of SV.

Showed it to the Man who said 'it's wicked but shouldn't you have done a green one for St. Patricks Day'. If I didn't know better I would think that he read nail blogs too.
