Day at the Zoo

B and I went to Werribee Zoo ysterday. The safari bus tour was fantastic. Rhino's, Hippo's, Zebras, Giraffes. YAY. And who could forget the Meerkats.
Here are some of the animals I saw.
And here is what I did when I got home
On my teent-tiny nails I used China Glaze Solar power and Ulta3 Chocolate Ckae and a BM plate which, of course, I can't remember the name of.

Purple Pleather

This is Orly Purple Pleather from the Plastix collection. Then I asked B what I should stamp on it and he said "Gold Four-Leaf Clovers" and sounded very proud of himself. I proceed to grad the 4 plates I have that have different 4 leaf clovers on them, and he very sadly said "Oh, you actually have clovers".
I don't think he understands that there isn't a lot of things that are not on one of the stamping plates.
So, anyway, he then looked at them and chose this one. Which unless I'm mistaken is a fern not a clover.
I had quite a bit of trouble withthe stamping, until I got to my right thumb, which, of course, was the last one I stamped. It's a BundleMonster plate, not sure of the number sorry, stamped with China Glaze Passion

Sneak Peek

Here is a Sneak Peek at things from my 100 post giveaway, which is coming soon.
All pics are from manufacturers sites.
China Glaze Black Mesh - even though most people probably have it already.
Nubar 2010 - even if you have one who doesn't need a backup.
And other goodies as well.
This one will be open internationally.
All details will be in the 100th post ( I think this is 84)

How to look stylish by accident.

This is China Glaze For Audrey.
And this is the dress I put on this morning not realising.
Yay for accidental styling.
Amazing formula. I only did two coats because I wanted to keep using it.
B doesn't like it. He thinks it's an old lady colour. Okay then, he obviously knows grandma's who wear blue on their nails, I don't.

Ummm. Whats happening.

Weird things for sure. This is Color Club Magic Attraction. I put it on on Sunday over a coat of Seche Base. 3 coats of MA then one coat of SV. It's now Tuesday and, Where has my polish gone?
Literally, where is it? Everytime I look at my fingers some more has fallen off, I'm not picking at it. The bizarre thing is the Seche Base is still on my fingers. There must have been a weird reaction between the two.
MA is a really stunning colour, and I tell you what this has to be the easiest way to remove glitter that I know, although very annoying because it's going o be at least 7 hours before I can put new stuff on.
Please ignore the staining that came from my franken Lime Spider.

Pineapple Cocktail ..... Fail

This mani came from asking B to think of a smell. After telling him it needed to be a 'nice' smell (such a male), he said Pineapple. So of courese I had to put Revlon pineapple Fizz over China Glaze Elctric Pineapple.
It smelled lovely, and loving the fact that Pineapple Fizz is actually small flakies and not glitter like I thought, but how it looked.....
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH
And the pic makes it look great compared to real life. Maybe this would work on someone without lily white skin.

Sorry to Vita, she was the one who came up with the name Lime Spider.
Thanks to Kelly for pointing out my mistake

Seaweed or Baby Poo?

Here is my latest mani.
B thinks it looks like I've dipped it in seaweed. I think it looks like it comes from a baby thats got in to the glitter jar.
Either way I like it but should probably have put on something black underneath.
This picture is nowhere near the true life colour.

Color Club Ulterior Motive

Here is my Monday polish. Color Club Ulterior Motive, Fuschia with purple and blue shimmer in it.
I spent most of the weekend doing my 'Project' which, for the first step involved painting lots and lots of fake nails, and numbering them, each of the polishes that I have.
Next I will be making a spreadsheet of all I have.

Essie Smooth Sailing.

Really not sure what colour this is. Do I put it in my Polish catalogue as blue or purple. I asked my man what colour it is and his response was. 'Kind of between Purple and Grey, you should call it Purey.' Didn't have the geart to tell him the term was Grurple (Is that what it is?)
Anyway here is Essie Smooth Sailing, looking purple on me even though all the swatches I've seen make it look blue.
Side Note: This is my very first Essie. Loved the formula and the brush

These Are Not Holo's

At least thats what it says on the Transdesign website, where I got them from.
This is Color Club Fashion Addict and Love Em Leave Em
Thay really do look holo in real life.
It's just my bad camera skills. But all that should be fixed soon. Starting a course tonight, and getting a macro lens tomorrow. Yay.
