I Think...My Favourite

I believe this is my favourite layering combination I've done so far. Essence Let's Get Lost with China Glaze Atlantis on top.

And can I say

OOOOOWWWWW

I just got my first ever wasp sting. It really really hurts.
Right between my toes. Ouch. Now I have a fat toe.
Thats Ulta 3 Gelati by the way.

Now onto my nails from the other day. China glaze Grape Pop, Nubar 2010 and then mattified. Who doesn't love matt flakies?

I Don't Like It....On Me.

I lke it in the bottle. Ilike it on other people. But I don't like it on me.

China Glaze Trendsetter. Sorry for the bad pic, but I didn't bother trying to get a good one on a colour that looks like this on me. I'm going to put a crackle or something over the top tonight to try to fix it but we'll see.

I Got It. Yay

It's not very often that a polish jumps straight into number one spot for it's respective colour. But that is what happened as soon as I put this one on.

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps. An oldie but definately a goodie. Best red ever! And to think I put off buying it because I had other red glitters. Silly me

Happy Australia Day

I am so proud of myself with this manicure. Not to blow my own trumpet but I think it's my best yet.

These cloud designs I have been seeing on Nailside. And the lovely Jane put up a tutorial here. It's so simple. And I could do it on both hands. This is definately going to be a regular mani style for me.

Orly Fresh, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky and Color Club Object Of Envy are the polishes I used.

Hope you like me Australia Day mani

From the Archives

Here is a pink from my archives, which explains the shockingly out of focus phone picture. But this is truly retina scorching.

Pretty Red

Hi all, Thank you all for your comments on my previous post. I have contacted the seller and am getting a replacement. This is one of the survivors from the accident.

China Glaze Love Marilyn.

This jumped up into my favourites list as soon as it was applied.

Red and Silver glitter. How could it be bad?

Orange and Blue

Just like last time China Glaze Life Preserver was awful to work with. My set of this collection (Anchor's Away) is really really thick. And to make matters worse it really didn't look good with my skin tone. So I put CDN Ice Blue Shimmer on top. Slipghtly better but still only lasted one day with this mani. Please excuse the fluff on my ring finger.

More Cropping Practice

I have discovered it's quite hard to crop a photo weel when it's a bad photo to start with.
This is China Glaze Street Chic

Layering Mirrors.

As I have run out of remover till tonight I had to do something to extend my mani. So I put on a coat of China Glaze Fault Line, the purple Crackle Glaze

Sunny Shadows

Here is a shadowy sunlight photo of what I'm wearing right now.
China Glaze Paint The Town Red. Two coats with Nubar Diamont on top. I chose this pic because it's the closest to the colour IRL.
Also I have a confession.
Is it bad that I ordered Essence Choose Me when I already have Orly Halley's Comet, OPI Catch Me In Your Net and Zoya Charla. I definately have a problem.

Traffic Jam

I always get jealous of bloggers who can think of cool names for their posts. I am not one of them.
In case you hadn't guessed this is China Glaze Traffic Jam from the Metro Collection.
This is an inside photo, even though it was gorgeous in Melbourne on the weekend I am totally incapable of taking photo's in the sun. I even change all the settings and everything. Any tips please?

Secret PeriWinkle with Stamping

Sorry about the shockingly unoriginal title. This is China Glaze Secret PeriWinkle with some cherries stamped on in Konad Special Black.
The reason the photos are of non clean ed up nails is because I didn't like them and took it off straight away. Looking back now I can't actually see why I didn't like it though.

Very Nice Blue

This is China Glaze Blue Iguana from the Island Escape collection. Very nice sparkly blue that went on really well in two coats. I also added a dried flower which made me not like the mani so it came off straight away.
Probably the best application I've ever done with polish though. No clean up necessary.
I'll probably be away from posting and commenting for a few days because it's Melbourne Cup long weekend and my internet is really dodgy at home.
Have a great weekend everybody.

Hospital Times

I think this is China Glaze Haunting.
Can't really remember though. I put it on on Tuesday night right before I had to take B to hospital, for kidney stones.
It's now Thursday and he's still there, but hopefully home sometime today.
Funniest thing was, I managed to talk to 6 different nurses about polish while I was there.

Getting Distracted

Last night in the middle of doing my nails, B came home and said we were going out to dinner. I figured I could just put top coat on when I got home. Not so much. Got very dinted polish now. Will have to take it off and replace tonight.
Two coats of China Glaze Tree Hugger.

Rrrrrrrgghhhh. Another No-Dry

This time it was China Glaze Westside Warrior.
Odd cuase I don;t usually have trouble with CG. Two coats of WW then one of Diamont and 3 hours before going to bed and still sheet marks. Pity cause it's a stunning colour.
Iv'e decided to blame the fact that I have shocking cirulation and my hands were freezing cold.
