Just a quick post to show youmy top 10 of 2011. In no particular order they are.
Left to Right:
Wet'n'Wild - Cost Is No Issue, Chanel - Peridot, China Glaze - Midtown Magic, Wet'n'Wild - Believe Me It's Real, China Glaze - Snow Globe, China Glaze - Love Marilyn, Butter London - Henley Regatta, China Glaze - Blue Iguana, Essie - Smooth Sailing, China Glaze - Traffic Jam.
As you can probably tell I have actually worn all of these yet, otherwise I would show you mani pics. Can probably also see my preference for China Glaze. Admittedly almost all the polishes in my collection I bought in 2011 but I decided only to use ones that were released last year instead of urchased by my.
Hope you enjoy my favourites

Happy Australia Day
I am so proud of myself with this manicure. Not to blow my own trumpet but I think it's my best yet.
These cloud designs I have been seeing on Nailside. And the lovely Jane put up a tutorial here. It's so simple. And I could do it on both hands. This is definately going to be a regular mani style for me.
Orly Fresh, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky and Color Club Object Of Envy are the polishes I used.
Hope you like me Australia Day mani
Thursday 13 - Pet Peeves
A series to discover more about me. Developed by the wonderful Annelise at AunieSAUCE.
This weeks topic
PET PEEVES.
1. Bad spelling. Especially in text's.
2. Drivers who don't wave when you let them pass on a narrow road.
3. People who complain in blog comments. If you don't like something, don't read it.
4. People who don't return books on time. Yes, I am a librarian.
5. Cameras with bad white balance (may, in fact, be me, not the camera)
6. Supermarkets that don't stock Rice Bubbles(ie my local one)
7. Big postage costs to and from Australia, and stupid customs.
8. companies that won't ship to Australia.
9. People who say AKS instead of ASK, also PASGHETTI.
10. Not being allowed a puppy cause I'm renting.
11. IKEA being so much more expensive here.
12. Chips that don't crunch up in the oven.
13. My stupid Internet that keeps disconnecting when I'm in the middle of a long post. (I've written this one three times now)
Sorry this is another post wiith no polishes. I'm at home at the moment and can't upload with my laptop (maybe peeve #14). And all the local library computers have been fully booked the last couple of days.
I also dont like when Blogger adds line breaks to my posts
More pics coming soon, including Australia Day Nails and my Top Ten of 2011

What I'm Annoyed About
It's going to be 34 degrees here today, just like yesterday, and I can't go swimming because of stupis travel vaccination in my arm. I can't lift it properly.
I can't put polish on for same reason.
Stupid Arm.

Weekend nails.
These are the nails I wore on the weekend to watch a football match between Melbourne Hart and Brisbane Roar. Was an entertaining match but unfortunately ended in a 1 all draw.
I chose these colours because Hearts team colours are red and white. Rimmel London Clouds and OPI Wocka Wocka. I used a dotting tool to create the dots

Thursday 13 - Unrealistic Wishes
This is a new series of posts developed by Annelise at AunieSauce, my must read daily blog.
The series is to learn 13 things about me each Thursday. Sometimes they are serious, sometimes not so. Today is the latter.
1. Mini Dolphins to go into my fish tank, cause how cute would they be
2. Really, really good photography skills. Doesn't seem to matter how much practice I do, I just can't get good
3. Ability to cook anything that I see on the TV Cooking shows.
4. Teleportation to get to places without using public transport. And so I could visit people in other countries.
5. A dream recorder so I can watch the great dreams that I have again and again.
6. Another dream one. A way to make the books that I read into dream so I can 'live' them.
7. A pet monkey.
8. More time to read all the books I want to.
9. The entire China Glaze OMG collection
10. The entire China Glaze Kaleidoscope collection.
11. A puppy and a kitten that didn't grow up.
12. Painting skills.
13. Co-ordination. I have none. I don't need things to fall over. I can fall over a pattern in the carpet.
5. The ability to get rid of my allergies.

Mermaid Tail Comparison.
My first comparison post. This is the four 'Mermaid Tail' polishes that I have.
Orly Halley's Comet, Essence Choose Me, Zoya Charla, and OPI Catch Me In Your Net
Not a great picture sorry. In real life Choose Me is not as blue asa the others but normal people would only need one out of the four.
My choice would be ORLY Halley's Comet simply because it didn't stain at all and the others did a little bit. Admittedly I had no base coat on so the staining was totally my fault.

Pretty Red
Hi all, Thank you all for your comments on my previous post. I have contacted the seller and am getting a replacement. This is one of the survivors from the accident.
China Glaze Love Marilyn.
This jumped up into my favourites list as soon as it was applied.
Red and Silver glitter. How could it be bad?

Bummer
Got nail mail today and this is what happened
And, of course, it was the one of the three I was looking forward to most.
China Glaze Lorelai's Tiara is the one that smashed, the other two are, Marry a Millionaire and Love Marilyn.
I'm just impressed by the fact that I have had over 500 polishes come via the post, and most from overseas and this is the very first broken one. I feel I'm a true polish collector now.

What I've Done and What I Wore.
This is what I've been doing the last few days.
All my polishes on little display sticks. This way I will easily be able to identify dupes and do full colour spam and stuff like that. This is about a quarter of my polishes. I am now up to 457
And this is the polish I wore on NYE. Color Club Worth The Risque. Another one of the ones that's not supposed to be holo, but is.
